DIY A/C Kits

We don’t recommend them for a number of reasons.

• They are potentially dangerous and could cause injury.
   

• Your air conditioning system requires a specific quantity of refrigerant, with 
  
  a top up. You are unable to measure this.

• Moisture and contaminants should be removed as part of a
  
  standard airconditioning service. What you are doing is just topping up the
  
  system and contaminating the new refrigerant. We remove the
  
  contaminated refrigerant and dispose of it correctly, vacuum your system
  
  to remove all moisture and then weigh in the correct quantity of refrigerant
  
  while carrying out a performance test.
